ABOUT ME

"BUT AS FOR YOU, BE STRONG AND DO NOT GIVE UP, FOR YOUR WORK WILL BE REWARDED."
2 CHRONICLES 15:7 (NIV)

First let me be clear, God gets all the glory for anything I have been able to accomplish.  He is the reason I'm here and doing the things I'm able to do today.  I've seen him work many miracles in and through my life. I am a member of the Wounded Warrior Project (I wasn't injured in country)and a severe stroke survivor. I was born in Tupelo, MS in 1981 then raised in Nettleton, MS.  I was married for 6 years but am currently divorced.  I played high school sports at Nettleton High, where I received my diploma in 1999. I played college football at Delta State University, where I was on the Division II 2000 National Championship Team. My mother was murdered due to domestic violence while I was at DSU.  I then received my bachelors of business administration in 2003 majoring in Computer Information Systems. I served in the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) military program for the state of Mississippi for 9 years. I served in multiple positions as an officer and enlisted. While serving two tours in Iraq I received a Bronze Star and other awards for my service. I received my Masters Degree in 2008 from Touro University International majoring in Information Technology. I live in Hernando, MS.  I have two children Anna Thomas and Jack Turner. I was featured in the May 2013 issue of Good Health magazine published by The American Heart Association and was on the January 2019 American Family Radio’s Exploring Missions podcast series.
